CYCLING THE FRANCIGENA WAY:

THIS FULLY SUPPORTED TOUR is a 14 day bike tour that follows the medieval pilgrimage route from the north to Rome. The entire route goes from Cantebury, England to Rome, but we have chosen to ride the most spectacular stretch. Our tour begins in southern Switzerland, crosses the Alps at the spectacular St. Bernard Pass, and ends in Rome. Passing from high alpine valleys to the Crete hills of Tuscany, the route passes through stunning geography and some of our favorite towns in Italy; Siena, Lucca, Montalcino and San Gimignano. This van supported tour will be accompanied by Chuck and Judy Nichols.

NEW ZEALAND, THE ULTIMATE ADVENTURE DOWN UNDER:

This hiking, kayaking and wildlife viewing tour of New Zealand's South Island offers the perfect combination of excitement, adventure and relaxation! Each day we will be surrounded by exquisite scenery as we hike and paddle into some very special off the beaten path locations. Our tour activities begin in Abel Tasman National Park, one of the most spectacular sea kayaking destinations in the world. We will enjoy paddling double kayaks in calm crystal clear water. No previous kayaking experience is needed. A real highlight of the trip will be a three day wilderness journey on the Hollyford Track. This splendid guided hike takes us from the mountains to the sea. The ever changing scenery is spectacular - snow capped mountains, glaciers, rainforests, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, reefs, sand dunes and surf. In addition to the great hiking, the wildlife observation, historical tales and a jet boat ride will add to your memories of New Zealand. Our grand finale is a magnificent scenic flight to Milford Sound where we spend the night on a cruise ship in Milford Sound.

BHUTAN CULTURAL TOUR & YOU CAN ADD ON A 5 DAY TREK:

Bhutan is a trekker’s paradise! Bhutan's peaceful folk and tradition-steeped way of life combined with its pristine forests and picturesque valleys makes this one of the Earth's most unspoiled destinations for trekking. The first part of this tour will be an immersion into Bhutan’s history, culture and lifestyle. Accompanied by a English speaking knowledgeable guide, you will do several day hikes and visit a number of Bhutan’s most important sights. Then you might choose to include a 4 night camping trek on the spectacular Druk Path. This moderately strenuous trek is supported by pack animals and takes you through thick alpine forests and groves of dwarf rhododendrons to some amazing views of the Himalayan peaks. Your Bhutan Tour is the perfect blend of cultural visits and mountain trekking! This tour may be arranged for 1 or more people any time of year. Spring and Fall months have the best weather.
