To get more out of your next vacation, Nichols Expeditions has created Multi-adventure Trips that combine several activities on one tour. This is a fun way to try a new sport or to be able to extend your enjoyment of the region you are visiting.

Turkey Multi-sport Tour - Cycle the Turquoise Coast - Visit Greek & Roman Ruins
Sea Kayak on the Mediterranean - Sail on a Turkish Gulet The cycling is van supported on a superb coastal route we selected especially for its breathtaking vistas and beaches. Uncrowded roads take us through small towns and near a number of fantastic Greek, Roman, and Lycian ruins. Each evening comfortable lodging and warm Turkish hospitality awaits. We will hike among the ancient cities and temples and learn about the fascinating history. We will spend a morning in sea kayaks exploring the ruins of a sunken city and top off our seaside activities with a night on a traditional wooden Turkish Gulet.


The Alaska Hiking and Rafting Trip in the Brooks Range is your invitation to join us in the "Land of the Midnight Sun," high above the Arctic Circle on the Noatak River. We've combined hiking with rafting to explore the remote valleys and peaks of this vast, untouched mountain region in its full summer glory.

Italy Biking & Hiking the Amalfi Coast is an exciting multi-sport tour along the scenic southern Italian Coast. Fabulous views of the Mediterranean Sea, archeology, culture & great cuisine make this a wonderful combination.


Peru Bike Tour from Lake Titicaca to the Sacred Valley of Machu Picchu combines a splendid ride from Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, to the Sacred Valley of Machu Picchu with day hikes to the spectacular Inca ruins of the reigion. Our cross-country route includes hotels, a few nights camping, a hot spring and a visit to several of the Peruvian markets.

The Galapagos Islands Wildlife Tour is one of our most popular trips. We'll be living aboard a comfortable yacht and cruising the archipelago from island to island. Daily walking and snorkeling journeys will bring us up close to an array of unique, indigenous animals - giant tortoises, blue footed boobies, curious marine iguanas and playful sea lions.

Baja Sea Kayaking in the Sea of Cortez and Whale Watching in Magdalena Bay is your chance to escape the icy chill of winter and see hundreds of Pacific Gray Whales who have just finished their annual migration from Alaska to the warm bays of Baja. Beach hiking, bird watching, paddling in mangrove-lined estuaries and a deluxe base camp are there to enjoy. This is a memorable winter getaway!

The Jungles, Oceans and Beaches of Costa Rica is a celebration of the beauty and diversity of this wonderful Central American country. Snorkeling the blue Pacific, exploring the magnificent jungle of Corcovado National Park, sea kayaking, horseback riding or mountain biking are a few of the activities we have. We offer our Costa Rica tours as Charter Trips for groups of two or more people. We will create a custom itinerary for you, with departures in November through March.
