tours are some of our most unusual and charming cycling adventures to
date. We’ve combined the fun of riding through Holland, where bicycle
travel is the norm and not the exception, with overnight accommodations
on a comfortable barge, our floating hotel.
In bike friendly Holland one finds ferries, bridges, tunnels
and paths that are dedicated solely to bicycles. Almost every person in
this small country owns and travels on a bicycle so we will feel right
at home! Our daily routes will feature relatively easy rides to see the
scenic windmills, dikes, a nature reserve and dunes that define this region
 and
endear it to so many. Quaint villages, wooden clogs, cheese markets, and
a chance to glimpse the historic Dutch way of living will make a lasting
impression and inspire you to capture the sights with your camera.
Each day we will depart by bicycle from our floating hotel with our local
guide for a day of exploration, fun and visual treats. While we ride,
our barge will relocate to a new mooring and await our arrival for the
night. This means we don’t have to pack up each morning and we’ll
return to the same cozy surroundings each night.
These tours are cycling vacations for all abilities. This year we will
be offering a Tulip Tour of Southern Holland in April and a tour of Northern
Holland in July.
